Blessing for the Day to Come

Thanks be for the waters that support and surround us
For the land that extends about us
and for the sky that stretches above us
At the center burns this living flame*
Let us pray with a good fire
May our love be pure
our actions be just
and our worship be true

*If choosing to do this blessing as a ritual, it is at this point where a candle or small fire could be lit before continuing on

I know that wrote this into my grimoire from an ADF site about 5-6 years ago, but I’m not sure how much I may have changed it, or the original site it came from (if you have any information on the source, please share!). The phrase “let us pray with a good fire” shows up in several ADF rituals (like this one, which contains much of the same wording as this blessing), and originates from a line in the Rig Veda.
